Munglers Trump Cards
Now in their 3rd year, a new set of Munglers Trumps cards has been produced to support the 2011 Summer Reading Challenge and other promotions.
Circus Munglers Trumps is a pack of 22 collectable trummp cards featuring the Mungler characters devised by author and illustrator Guy Bass. Each card includes the character's picture, motto, and a mini Circus adventure. Each card is scored for Strength, Size, Speed, Smell and Scariness so the cards can be played as an exciting trumps game.
The Munglers have been developed by Greenwich Libraries with London ASCEL and are now available nationally. This year, to coincide with the Circus Stars theme for the 2011 Summer Reading Challenge, a new set of Circus themed Munglers has been developed by Guy Bass. A range of London boroughs, county and district authorities have bought into these and will be using them alongside Circus Stars and other activities in libraries.
Other authorities interested in buying into the Munglers scheme should contact Martin Stone Tel: 020 8291 5641 email: martin.stone@greenwich.gov.uk
There is a Munglers web page on www.guybass.com Guy will add new Circus Munglers content and respond to questions from card collectors.
